Akwamar Sunzal Adventure Club is perched atop the stunning volcanic cliffs of El Sunzal with never ending views of the Pacific Ocean
We invite you to stay here at our surf lodge and retreat that is a place of peace and tranquility where you can while away the hours in one of our two infinity pools, rest a while on one of our decks or simply watch the Pacific surf crashing onto the rocks below.
If you are looking for something a little more adventurous then we can offer many activities including Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Trekking, Horseback Riding, Surfing and Paragliding
Our location a short walk to Playa Sunzal means that the beach is easily accessible to you. If you are looking for some nightlife then El Tunco is THE place to go. A great party town with music and dancing often going on well into the small hours of the night. Our guests are often grateful to be able to return to the peace and tranquility of Akwamar Sunzal!

ABOUT US
Six years ago Gaby and Julio had a vision to take control of this small, intimate resort and offer an 'alternative' to the slightly noisy, younger crowds in El Tunco. Their vision to create a peaceful haven, yet have all of the access to El Sunzal, El Tunco, El Zonte and the many hot surf locations located along this coast.

As our name suggests we are the perfect destination for those looking for adventure! With "El Sunzal Wave" just down the road surfing is the obvious choice but we also offer hiking, kayaking, paragliding and a host of other activities that will keep both young and old occupied at this beautiful location.
